Terms of Service

1. What the service is

BigCSV is a web page that splits, converts, deduplicates and filters CSV files. All processing happens in your own browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to us or to anyone else — there is no server that receives them, and we never see, store or transmit their contents.

2. Free use and the licence

Files up to 10,000 rows may be processed free, without an account. Larger files require a one-time licence, currently $18.99 USD.

The licence is perpetual, is not a subscription, and is not billed again. It permits use by one person for personal or commercial work, and may be activated on up to five browsers or devices. It may not be resold, sublicensed, published or shared. Sharing a key beyond its activation limit simply stops it working.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as the merchant of record and seller for the transaction. They handle payment, invoicing and any sales tax or VAT, and their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. Your card details are never seen by us.

4. Refunds

See the Refund Policy. In short: fourteen days, no questions asked.

5. Your data

We operate no user accounts, no database and no analytics profile of you. The only thing stored is your licence key, kept in your own browser's local storage so you do not have to paste it on every visit. Clearing your browser data removes it. Because files are processed locally, no personal data contained in them is ever transferred to us.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to circumvent the licence check, or redistribute the software as your own. You are responsible for having the right to process the files you load.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". Software has bugs, browsers differ, and files can be malformed in unexpected ways. Always keep your original file. Verify any output before you rely on it or overwrite anything — we make no warranty that results will be complete, accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for data loss, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Availability and changes

The site is offered without any uptime guarantee. Features may change or be withdrawn. If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Your licence remains valid regardless.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you live.
